There is much I love about renting this house: the big rooms, the stone floor, the massive fireplace, the island kitchen … but what I love most of all is the private porch that extends the master bedroom outdoors. The diffused light, the privacy, the quiet . . . I could spend hours there, and I do. When I leave this space, this is the space I will miss most.
